Javonte Williams is ranked RB18 (overall #18) for the Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season in PPR fantasy football by Hayden of The Underdog Football Show.
Williams is the RB12 on RB8 usage this year after finishing as the RB13 on RB6 usage last year. Nothing has changed. The Cowboys offense is well-coached and stacked, so even if Williams is leaving some plays on the field, it largely doesn't matter. Dallas is trying out RB2s behind him still, and things could gel once star LG Tyler Smith eventually returns. In the meantime, he's a fringe RB1/2 in normal matchups. This matchup happens to be one of the worst. The Texans are the best fantasy RB defense through three weeks, averaging just 87 rushing YPG to opposing RB rooms. That's particularly good with the context that they've faced Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, and Chase Brown. None of them scored a touchdown. The only saving grace remains that the Cowboys still project for 23.0 points (17th), and the Texans' injuries at LB are making them far more vulnerable over the middle than they usually are.
