Wide Receiver · Indianapolis Colts · Age 25 · North Carolina · WR18 PPR (Week 4 2026)
Josh Downs is ranked WR18 (overall #18) for the Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season in PPR fantasy football by Hayden of The Underdog Football Show.
Downs has been the WR15 and WR11 in expected half PPR points over the last two weeks without Alec Pierce (heel). They've been forced into using him a lot because Keenan Allen and Laquan Treadwell are real limited in what they can do, and the results have been generally good. Downs will be peppered whenever the Colts are trailing, but there are other go-to red zone options to prevent him from the absolute ceiling we want. That said, Downs is trending towards a WR2/3 player as a positive regression candidate. The Commanders have allowed the most fantasy points to WRs this season. JSN finished as the WR1 overall last week, while CeeDee Lamb (WR3) and Dontayvion Wicks (WR15) popped off in the weeks prior. I haven't been impressed with their CB play (obviously), even if 1st-round LB Sonny Styles has been as good as advertised. As long as Styles doesn't destroy Downs over the middle, this is a great matchup. The Colts are projected for 26.0 points, which is the 4th-best of the week.
