Running Back · New Orleans Saints · Age 27 · Clemson · RB27 Half-PPR (Week 3 2026)
Travis Etienne Jr. is ranked RB27 (overall #27) for the Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season in Half-PPR fantasy football by Hayden of The Underdog Football Show.
Etienne has been the biggest non-injury bust based on his role through two weeks. He lost early-down work to Kendre Miller in Week 1, before Miller was healthy scratched last week in favor of Alvin Kamara. The role stayed the same. Etienne is splitting early-down work and is rarely playing late downs because UDFA rookie FB C.J. Donaldson is more trusted in protection. That reeks. He only had 5.8 expected half PPR points (RB42) last week and would not have a FLEX-worthy profile if not for the garbage time receptions vs. the Lions in the opener. The Saints also used Tyler Shough in Tush Push situations (with Etienne on the field), so the needle we're threading for Etienne right now is very, very narrow. It didn't help that Etienne dropped one of his pitch attempts and then bobbled the next one after the timing between the motion player and Shough's pitch were off. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Emerging star LT Kelvin Banks Jr. (ankle) is out months now.
